Tubing in The Triangle

🍩 This is a BYOT: bring your own tube event. We have a few of extras so if you don't have one, just send us a message!

🚣 If this is your first time in the river, tubing involves you, an inner tube and a cooler full of beer/snacks. The route is still TBD but will take a little less than half the day to complete and that's half a day we get to just lay out in the sun, relax and chat it up with your fellow nudies. We have to leave at the same time so please do not be late!

🩳 Unfortunately, this will be a clothed excursion for the most part. We will try our best to find a secluded enough strip of river so we can have an opportunity to go naked but please do so at your own risk.

📋INSTRUCTIONS FOR DAY OF 1 - We will meet at the end point. This is where we will eventually get out of the river. 2 - From there, we will shove as many tubes, coolers and people into cars to consolidate ride shuttles to the starting point. 3 - The plan is to inflate at the starting point and be in the water by 11am. Once we get out of the river, we will give carpool rides back to the beginning of the route.

ENDING LOCATION: Anderson Point Address: 20 Anderson Point Drive Mile: 16.2 Directions: From the I-440 beltline take Route 64 East exit 13B. Travel 2.1 miles on New Bern Ave. Turn right on N. Rogers Lane. Follow until you reach a stop sign. Take a right to stay on N. Rogers Lane. Turn Left on Robbins Drive. Take the first right onto Anderson Point Drive. Turn left into a small parking lot before crossing the bridge over Highway 64 into Anderson Point Park. At the end of the parking lot is a gravel road that leads to the river access. Amenities: Restrooms (3/4 to 1 mile walk from river access point into Anderson Point Park)

STARTING LOCATION: Milburnie Dam Address: 1101 Old Milburnie Road Mile: 14.2 Directions: From the I-440 beltline take Route 64 East exit 13B. Travel 2.7 miles and just after crossing the bridge over the river turn left on Old Milburnie Road. Travel 0.2 miles and turn left on Loch Raven Parkway. Travel 100 yards and turn right onto a gravel road that leads to the river access downstream of the dam. Amenities: Parking area that includes double parking for trailers
